Trump dangled the prospect of pardons to his insurrectionist allies at his Texas rally last Saturday. Given that he is the one who inspired the January 6th riot and is ultimately responsible, you can see why he might be interested in that pardon power.”

My knee-jerk reaction is, "certainly, a president can't pardon himself!". Then, I snapped back to reality. A "president trump" would end up with a far right, wingnut Congress who would approve anything he wants to do. I hope the DOJ is doing something of which we are not yet aware. He is so clearly guilty. . . and still so dangerous.
