Rep. Pramila Jayapal really stepped in it this week when she sent out an ill-advised letter pushing Biden to negotiate with Putin regarding Ukraine. The letter was apparently drafted in July and signed by 30 House liberals. Sending it out this week, just as Ukraine seems to be gaining the upper hand, was a baffling misstep.
What were Pramila Jayapal (and her fellow House liberals) thinking? The tide is beginning to turn in Ukraine's favor. This is not really the time for Pramila and her compatriots to act like goofballs.
