This week a Texas Pastor pled guilty to possessing over 100,000 images and more than 5,000 videos of child sexual abuse material. I wasn't the slightest bit surprised. Why? Because people who want to victimize children don't generally draw attention to themselves by dressing flamboyantly. They hide among our most trusted authority figures. It is far easier to abuse others, especially children, when you have power, community reverence, or both. Those who hate and fear transgender people like to wrap their bigotry in the principle of protecting children. Well, if they really wanted to protect children, they might take a moment to note the evidence of where it most often occurs.
