Donald Trump announced he’s looking forward to another summit with Kim Jong Un. Kim responded the traditional North Korean way: by launching a volley of ballistic missiles into the sea. Trump has repeatedly praised his “great relationship” with Kim, apparently operating under the theory that if two people get along personally, one of them will eventually stop building nuclear weapons.
Or, maybe, one of them is being played.
It’s all very reminiscent of when Trump declared at a rally in 2018 that "we fell in love.”
“I was really being tough - and so was he. And we would go back and forth,” Trump said. “And then we fell in love, okay? No, really - he wrote me beautiful letters, and they’re great letters,” he said.
At this point, the Trump-Kim relationship resembles that one friend who keeps insisting, “He’s really a great guy once you get to know him,” while everyone else counts the explosions in the background.
Wow--this "love affair" has stood the test of time!
Trump will eat up any amount of flattery and, when it isn't there, his delusions fill the space.
The heart-shaped tunnel of love is quite apropos, as is the image of a South Korean sinking behind them--out of view and definitely not worthy of their attention.
Love your last line: "Or, maybe, one of them is being played." A perfect summation!
How disgusting can one president get? Someone please convince congress to put a 25th amendment on him. The man and his greedy republicans live like they are in a brothel, skimming off the cream of America’s profits, getting us into debt to the tune of $40 TRILLION dollars. Well, Washington D.C. is looking like a brothel with all that gold- painted plaster of paris splattered all over it. How much do you think it will cost taxpayers to start ripping out all the crap he’s been building, the fake “ballroom, the fake “Arch”, the fake “statues of warriors”etc. if we ever get a president worth having? trump has absolutely NO taste. The stupidity of trump has no limits. Kissing and nuzzling up to Kim Jong Un is beyond stupid. Why doesn’t trump just cuddle up with a big den of rattlesnakes? This president truly has no mind left and there wasn’t much there to begin with.
