It's getting harder to lampoon absurd policies. This cartoon might seem like an extreme exaggeration, but it's not. Teachers in Florida are emptying their shelves or restricting access until all books can be reviewed in order to comply with new laws. This is the Orwellian world we live in now.
Florida should just secede like TX wants to. They could form a Red State Religious Right Republic together. But if Florida secedes, where will we launch our spacecraft from ? More importantly, where will our senior citizens have their vacation condos ?
I'm sure the section with books about guns is unaffected, and probably will expand.
