It was good to see the Biden administration finally commit to sending much-needed M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. It was disappointing to see the fine print: they won't get there for a year, possibly much longer.

Why don't we just send them genetically - engineered giant reinforced TORTOISES ? They'd arrive faster. I can understand not wanting to appear openly supportive of the Ukraine so we can stay on speaking terms with Russia, but it would be a step in the right direction towards restoring the image tarnished by The Gross Trumpkin among the international community, the Free World that once respected us.
