The Texas Tribune last week discovered that white supremacist and Hitler admirer, Nick Fuentes, spent seven hours at the Defend Texas Liberty PAC. The PAC – backers of Attorney General Ken Paxton – gave Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick $3 million in campaign contributions and campaign loans shortly before he presided over the Paxton impeachment trial.
Tim Dunn, whom I wrote about recently as a billionaire backer of private school vouchers, is also a major donor to the PAC. He called the meeting with Fuentes a "blunder" this week as if it was just some kind of miscalculation. Patrick, in turn, agreed with Dunn.
Of course, Patrick is refusing to return the $3 million.
What a classy bunch of characters.
I'm still agog by how TX went from sublime Ann Richards & eschewed wonderful Beto to the EQ-less alpha boors that putridly infest the place now? The KKK pointed hats would be funny if they weren't so figging foully ferally sickkk. The burning cross is perfect, but the prize is the kkk-hat A in TexAs. Whew. https://nickanderson.substack.com/ @nick_anderson_
