This week ProPublica revealed that Justice Clarence Thomas strongly suggested he would resign from the Supreme Court over salary concerns in 2000. Right-wing billionaires soon rode to his rescue by subsidizing his lifestyle with lavish vacations, an expensive RV and myriad other benefits. It turned out that his $173,600 per year salary (more than $300,000 in today's dollars) went pretty far when others started picking up the tab for life expenses.
Clarence Thomas is utterly corrupt.
