Today was a travel day for me. I will be attending the Texas Tribune Festival this weekend (starting tomorrow morning). I started drawing on the plane, but we landed before I got very far, so I finished up at a bar near my hotel. It was pretty quiet when I started, but was getting pretty crowded and loud by the time I finished. In fact, I was so absorbed in my drawing, I didn't really notice people coming in, and a guy sitting down a couple chairs noticed I was drawing a political cartoon and guessed I was here for TribFest. That's when I decided it was time to move on. I usually draw in quiet solitude. It was different to be drawing in a loud venue. Today's (tonight's) cartoon might be a little messier than usual. I'm not used to drawing while drinking.
