Hunter Biden's legal team called House Republicans' bluff Tuesday when they agreed to Hunter Biden testifying before the House Oversight Committee, but only publicly. "We have seen you use closed-door sessions to manipulate, even distort the facts and misinform the public. We therefore propose opening the door," his lawyer Abbe Lowell said in a letter Tuesday to Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky. But Republicans don't want transparency. As Lowell asserted, they want to manipulate and distort the facts, as they've done before.
Republicans can't believe everyone is not as corrupt as they are. Hunter Biden isn't perfect. Who is? But, if there were anything remotely tangible to convict him of, they would have done it by now. Haven't they looked into his whole life with a magnifying glass already?
