Work Requirements

Congress doesn't work. It's become dysfunctional. One party grandstands, blocks and sabotages legislation while the other party tries to address problems. Some may not like or agree with the Democratic party, but at least they do try to govern. If Republicans were serious about cutting spending, they would do it when they have power. But they don't. They gleefully give tax cuts to the wealthy, then rubber stamp debt ceiling increases without giving it a second thought? If they really want to stop the growth of the federal debt, why don't they repeal those Trump tax cuts?
