I’ve been a Green Bay Packers fan since I was a kid. I’ve also been a fan of Aaron Rodgers. But his self-pitying rant last week week about getting criticism for lying to his teammates, the NFL and the world about being “immunized” just reveal him to be another indoctrinated rube for the right-wing media. He certainly has all the right-wing, flat-earth jargon down pat. What a tool.
My sentiments exactly. We have all been fans all my life; my cousin (from Green Bay) is custodian of the share of stock my uncle bought years ago. I have boasted proudly that the Packers are a “socialist” team—they cannot be moved to another city. Do you know what would happen if they tried?
I still will root for the team but I cannot stomach the Trump-like words and attitude from Rodgers any more. He’s a pismire, worth no more of my attention.
As a huge Packers fan, I can only say that Aaron Rodgers is great football quarterback who is a liar. Will he suffer any consequences?? After all, Colin Kapernick had his football career ended because he decided to take a knee during the national anthem. And that gesture was a very honest and up front statement about his feelings. As someone said about Rodgers, looks like this is one wreck Danica Patrick was so glad to avoid!!!
