Gonna need a LONG PAIR OF LEGS. Or be a frog on steroids & Red Bull to get up that. Books ALONE were expensive enough in the 80's to drive you to bankruptcy. OK, ALMOST.....

Crap, never mind. I guess my computer was just being glitchy; Nick wrote back to tell me to try again and it worked! Talk soon, dear.

No problem, I had an unusually - long CBD - induced catnap ! I'm slowly becoming a spokesperson for CBD ever since my dear old ( into her 80's ! ) introduced me to it a few years back. Even if ganja was 100 % LEGAL in the US, I can't smoke the stuff, but this sufficient unto the time.

Hey, Daniel, this is off-topic (and today is the 29th) but did you subscribe to Nick's page here? Started running into the paywall yesterday and today sent Nick a note of apology explaining that I already have about 3 too many subscriptions.

Maybe I'll run into you over at The Bulwark. I hope so, but bear in mind that a guy named Travis and I got shut down by other commenters there recently for discussing our weed grows! Off topic, they said! Nonsense, said I! (Lol, so serious over there). Anyway, I'll miss our little chats, my CBD loving friend. Stay cool, and I'll look for your byline wherever it may pop up! *S*

Oh, I'm familiar with The Bulwark. I already have WAY too many subscriptions as is ! You MIGHT want try Medium. It covers a SPECTRUM of subjects from people keeping journal entries to space news, LGBT items, televangelists who say idiotic crap about non - Christians or non - Conservatives, multi - topic. It's free for roughly 5 ( ? ) articles, then if you want to keep subscribed you can just pay $ 5 monthly. I contribute on a semi - regular basis on several categories. Getting my writing mojo back or trying to.

This is exactly what it's like for our daughter. With nearly 200 K in student loans I don't think she will be able to pay it off in her lifetime.

That is a choice, I would like a better car and home but I can't afford the debit now, that too is a choice. We must live with our choices. If you don't want to buy me a new car and home, I don't want to pay for your daughtes student loans!

Great cartoon Mr. Anderson. Coincidentally I wrote about said policy recently in my own newsletter. Shameless plug aside, I don't think anyone disagrees on the fact that college is just way to expensive these days.
