This is painfully spot on and is more a condemnation than a cartoon, which usually implies it's funny. Not much is truly funny in our county lately, so please keep showing us these painful truths.

I'm reminded of 2 things by this. A bit of maternal wisdom about bitter medicine being good for people, the medicine being a splash of ice - cold TRUTH.

The U.S. fixation with guns apparently has a Freudian context, so in addition to hair - trigger tempers & off - the - charts adrenaline levels, these guys must be VERY SMALL south of the equator. I think that we all know what that means. They're afraid of trying to chat up that hot chick at the local dive - bar, the one who needs professional electrolysis instead of just waxing.

Some people may not get " South of the equator " and unfamiliar with Freud. So I will explain for those that it means, the male is trying to use a gun to substitute for a very small dick. A gun makes it feel bigger. Which in reality does not, only implies it is so small it makes him react in anger which confirms the evidence of himself as less than a male.. The use of a gun to terrify others is proof he is unmanly, probably effeminate deep down, which he felt to weak to do anything about.

Thanks. Although a lot of people are at least nominally familiar with the whole " size " thing. Even in my family we have the whole macho - man thing, only in the form of sports fandom & how many historic football games one has watched rather than carrying firearms that can bring down a plane or turn a tank into scrap metal.

Many thanks for the explanation of why officers stood back so long while young children were in the room unsafe with the killer.

The police did not initiate the assault to intentionally kill innocent people. They were there to defend against such a person.

RE; Uvalde, TX. - So sad, but so true. As a General Comment, this is a wonderful expression of why "the only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun" is a mean lie. Time and again we see 'good guys' thinking they're Wyatt Earp taking on someone holding a child's toy in Target. Btw, why the "eff" are toy companies still making toy guns??
