I disagree that the postal service is inefficient. But trump has tried to destroy our constitutionally guaranteed postal service every time he gets into office. Surely there are lawsuits that will prevent him from carrying out this malevolent attempt to screw them over once again.
As someone who's relied on mail-in ballots since the Pandemic, and who has assisted a disabled parent who physically couldn't vote in person, I've been deeply concerned about the Trump Administration's unfounded mistrust of mail-in ballots for a long time. I hope this very speedily gets tested in court and struck down! This will disenfranchise so many people!

I used to qualify as a resident living abroad, but as it's a government service, I'm leery of it now. However, from now on, I'll use one of the independent online services, which is a great relief.
