Love that song--and it works so perfectly here! David Byrne's gigantic suit is still hilarious!

This whole business about the shoes provides a bit of much needed comic relief.

Hey, anything to please your Leader!

Brilliant, Nick! As a David Byrne fan, this provided a welcome laugh—till I remembered these imposters hold our fate in their tiny hands.

Women have been laughing about what your cartoon is saying for many decades. You mention someone having “Small Man Syndrome” (SMS) just about anywhere and women will laugh and nod their heads. Trump is the poster boy for SMS. “Don’t look at my life only pay attention to what I say”. You know the type of guy. He drives a monster truck and kicks his dog when he gets mad. “I’m big and bad,” he shouts and runs off when he challenged by anything.

SMS sufferers are guys that try to super-size everything about them in a warped way of advertising how “masculine” and “tough” they are when they’re the most insecure people on the planet. No matter how big his shoes, suit and tie are Rubio can’t portray himself to be another Mark Kelly because he’s too much like “Mr. Peabody” from the old “Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”, with Boris trump and his ditzy republican tattle-tales always looking over his shoulder.

Once in their lifetime drump and rubio might be surprised to learn that "there is water at the bottom of the ocean".

Is this the most embarrassing thing you've ever seen?

It saddens me as a mother.

Thank God he's not my son .

The first thing that I thought when the email title came across my phone was The Talking Heads, and Girl Friend Is Better (Stop Making Sense) is my favorite song of theirs, lol. This makes Perfect Sense!

I'm in my 70s, and I got the reference. Great cartoon!

I believe Chump was accurate about their actual sizes and simply bought these incredibly tacky, cheap shoes two or three sizes larger simply to see how long these gutless psychophants would stumble around in them. They obviously weren't smart enough either to stuff cotton in the toes or to buy the exact same shoe in the proper size.

David Byrne would be delighted with this! Here's to you, Nick, all references landed fully.

One of my favorite music videos! "The Bunkerboy Deathcult" has just NOW gotten comically ridiculous! If a news station reported this I would scoff.

The Penguin's shoes on 'Gotham' were rarely seen. They may have been a distorted version of a fashion that reminds me of rats' feet: long, with a stub at toes ..
