I’m not religious but I pray you are correct about the elections. I just grieve over the many people who are dying or having their lives destroyed while we wait.
Anybody who’s not a die-hard MAGA, even if they are not democrats, can easily see what a mess the presidency and his administration is. One of the big problems with the election that put trump in the White House is that people who could have voted quite frankly didn’t. I really liked Kamala Harris but because she jumped in the presidential race rather late she didn’t have the benefit of selling herself from the start of the season. Her campaign just wasn’t well organized. Besides, America being a good ol’ boy country isn’t ready to elect a woman.
At the time of the last presidential election, Trump was still fairly new to the people who voted for him. Like a batch of butter left out on the picnic table, he’s devolved down to a nasty, stinky liar and incompetent boob. Some of us knew what trump really was but those that just didn’t like him did not vote their dislike. Now we’ve come a long ways toward losing all our democracy and ways of living because angry MAGA men and women (we’ll never know just what they were angry about) squawked and bullied Americans to trump into the office he’s made a mess of.
You can bet the republicans will pick out someone they’ve carefully groomed to be an asocial candidate focused only on money. Gerrymandering makes no real difference on who’s elected in the next presidential race. It’s a desperate gesture. Republicans assume that everyone will vote as a block which is not at all true. All of us need to remember these last years of chaos and stupidity and then vote to throw out the republicans that caused this mess. The operative word here is VOTE.
HARDCORE TRUMPLICAN CULT MEMBERS are getting fed up with Dear Leader! If there's not a "Blue Tsunami" as scared Trumplicans and Americans expect in the midterms, there sure as hell won't be a "Red Tide." (Remember how cult members started to use that until 6th graders told them that that is a disease that kills fish???)
